About the Game

Welcome to Colonia, a relaxing and charming city-building strategy game where you guide a growing group of settlers, build structures, manage resources, and watch your world come to life.

🌲 Gather wood and stone 🌽 Grow crops and store food 👨‍🌾 Assign jobs and watch colonists work 🏡 Build homes, farms, and more 🎯 Reach a population of 100 to complete the beta, you can continue playing thereafter if you want

 How to Play

• 🖱️ Mouse: Place buildings, select stuff and literally everything 
• 🏗️ First, place a Town Hall, then expand from there
• 📘 Tips appear as pop-ups — follow them to get started
• ⚠️Recommended to save the game before night because sometimes at night the game freezes and crashes!⚠️

Controls

• Mouse - To select and click stuff
• Arrow keys -  To move camera
• F5 - Save game
• F2 -  Toggle hide ui
• P - Open colonist panel
• F1 - To see controls In-game

Requirements 

• 64-bit PC (the game is  made in python 3 using pygame-ce)
• 2GB Ram or something (it's a small game)
• Windows 10+ (i guess cus i didn't try it on other version)

Download 

• Click the Download button to get the .zip file.  
• Unzip it and run Colonia.exe to start playing! 

 ⚠️ Windows Warning:   When running the game, Windows might show a "protected your PC" message.                                                                                                                                         To continue: Click More info and Click Run anyway                                                               
This is safe — it just means the game isn’t digitally signed.

So... this is my first game made using pygame-ce in python and i'm no too good at it. I did get help from AI chatbots (not entirely just for some reference code and stuff).
And this is my 3 months of work. So enjoy! :)
